The project included the actualization and refinement of the existing SCADA system WinCC simulator diagrams.
In the course of implementing this project, work was carried out to configure and recreate all existing mimics of the current SCADA system, including the following steps:
- Data actualization: A detailed verification and update of information in the mimics were conducted to reflect all changes made in recent years. Every change from the current SCADA system was transferred to the simulators, enabling the practice of real systems.
- Performance optimization: Software version update, identification, and elimination of all deficiencies in the mimics causing lags and slowdowns in the application.
- Data source configuration: Unlike the real system, the simulator system receives data not from real controllers but from virtual data sources. All data sources for each diagram were manually configured and updated.
- Updated system testing: After making the changes, thorough testing of the updated system was conducted to identify errors and unforeseen failures, ensuring its stable operation.
